Our mission at The Thrifty Agent is to help real estate agents live their best lives by maximizing profits and saving as much money as possible in their business by cutting wasteful, repetitive, or just unnecessary spending.
The Thrifty Agent Code
1. I pledge to provide the best possible service to my clients and fulfill my fiduciary duties through obedience, loyalty, disclosure, confidentiality, accounting, and reasonable care. I will follow the law and the Realtor® Code of Ethics.
2. I will understand and track the costs associated with my business including time, talent, and money.
3. I will provide abundance and prosperity to myself, my family, and those who rely upon my business by carefully tracking and reducing unnecessary costs.
4. I acknowledge that certain expenses must be made now to improve my long-term strategy for success. I won’t be pennywise and pound foolish while trying to save money.
5. I will get at least 3 bids from different vendors before making any large or frequent repetitive purchases.
6. I will plan for sudden and often unpredictable changes in the market or my ability to work.
7. I will take steps now to safeguard my future plans to retire.
