Congratulations! You just earned your real estate license. Now what?
This the new real estate agent quick start guide that will help you get started on a shoe-string budget the thrifty agent way.
Jump Start your Business the First Week
There are a lot of free activities you can do your first week to get your business moving in the right direction. You can call your friends, neighbors, and family to share the good news that you’re a licensed agent and now have a broker. Ask them, “Who do you know that I should know?” The chances are good that 10% of your contact list is either planning to move this year or know someone who is. You just need to ask them for their business. Social media is another free way to reach out. Be sure to update your profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and anywhere else you keep in touch with your people.
Databases to Keep Track of your Contacts
Speaking of contacts, you need a way to keep track of them. Hopefully, your broker has a specific real estate related client relationship management system (CRM). Here are some free CRMs but they would need to be customized for your needs: Zoho, Monday.com, Insightly.com, and Hubspot.com.
